EOTDs for Lazy People (AKA Me)

I've gotten into a bit of a rut makeup-wise lately. I just haven't felt inspired. Thus, the complexity and precision of my eye makeup has dropped dramatically. For someone who claims to not care for neutrals much I find myself wearing them often because they are easy to slap on your face and go. What I've also been doing a lot is just a wash of shadow over a colored base. I'm a little ashamed at how far I've fallen, but not enough to where I won't show you. Haha.
And I don't remember really remember what I used on any of these besides that most of the neutrals are from Urban Decay's Naked palette. Haha, wow, this post is almost completely useless, huh? Well, maybe I'll get out of my makeup rut and look back on these and see how far I've come.

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a home eyebrow waxing kit? I used to use one by Sally Hansen that I love and it lasted me forever. I finally had to re-buy and apparently they changed the formula because it SUCKS now. I refuse to pay someone else to do my eyebrows for me and I'm too impatient for tweezing. So any recs would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for reading and have a great day/night/whatever!

  1. I totally felt the same way this past week! It was my first week of school and every morning I would just sit in front of the mirror and have no energy or brains to do something interesting. Most of the time it was just some eyeliner and mascara.

  2. I always feel uninspired when I have to wake up really early to go to work as usually I'm still half asleep. Then the tables turn in the evening when I'm doing my make-up to go out!

  3. Haha, that's so weird! I have been feeling the same... throwing on like, 1-2 neutrals and maybe colored eyeliner ;) Sometimes simple is best!

  4. I actually think they all look quite pretty!

As far as wax for eyebrows, I use Avon's Skin so Soft wax. It lasts forever...like years. It comes in a little tub you pop in the microwave for a minute and it's good to go.

  5. They might not be the most complex EOTD pics but they all look really subtle and pretty! Relly like the purple liner you've used in the first picture! :)

  6. I'm all about an easy eye.
With regards to the wax, Karen from MBB posted about Bliss Kit, you can get it at Sephora. It's pretty affordable and from what I remember the said it was good, a tip was to warm it up a bit with a hair drier.
