You've probably heard of those gimmicky polishes that change color in the sun right? Well, this is one of those. But it's WAY better than what you're probably thinking of. Out of UV light, the color is tiny orange and holographic glitter in a clear base. But out in the sun the clear base turns into a deep, dark black. It's so cool!
This polish is sold on Del Sol's website. It usually sells for $10, but right now it's $7.50. I rarely buy backup bottles because I never use up a bottle of polish, but I'm greatly tempted this time.
This is three coats with base and top coat.

Oh, and GIF TIME!
So any plans for Halloween? Not for me, I'm just going to stay home and be boring. Like usual! ;)
Cool nail polish! All Souls Night is cancelled in NYC. :( Sandy put a damper on all our plans.
ReplyDeleteOh, no. That sucks! Are they going to try and reschedule?
DeleteVery neat! We used to have a Del Sol store near me, but they closed up. Guess UV color changing items don't have a big enough fan base around here.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you always make me laugh. I wonder where there is a big enough fan base of UV color changing items to warrant having a store.
DeleteThat's amazing! It looks unreal. I have one Del Sol polish and it's gimmicky and all, but I really want to get one of the glittery ones. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteI have another glittery one and i love it, too. I want to get more!
DeleteSWEET! I got some of these for my birthday earlier this year but I didn't realize there was a Halloween one!
ReplyDeleteWOW, that's actually really cool. I've never seen a glittery one do that ... I must try to get my hands on one to try it out!
ReplyDeleteThis polish is absofuckin' perfect!!
